AnnaSophia Robb's Education Background

AnnaSophia Robb is an American actress, singer, and model. She first came to the big screen in 2005 with the starring role in Because of Winn-Dixie. Her other major films include Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Bridge to Terabithia, and Race to Witch Mountain. Her next film to hit theaters is Soul Surfer, in which she co-stars with Dennis Quaid and Carrie Underwood. EDUinReview will now take a look at Robb’s education background.
Robb was born on December 8, 1993, in Denver, Colorado. Her parents are Janet and David, an interior designer and architect, respectively. Robb loved to dance and competed in both dance and gymnastics for 4.5 years, but decided to quit in order to pursue an acting career. When she was nine-years old, she started her film acting career. Robb is still a high school student and currently attends Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado.

Robb’s first acting role placed her in the starring role of a commercial for McDonald’s. In 2004, she appeared in an episode of Drake & Josh. That same year, she landed her first major role as Samantha in the television movie Samantha: An American Girl Holiday. In 2005, she starred in Because of Winn-Dixie and playedViolet Beauregardein Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Two years later, she appeared in another major film, Bridge to Terabithia; Robb also recorded a song for the movie, Keep Your Mind Wide Open, which reached number 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 List. She had a variety of appearances in several films, including The Reaping, Jumper, and Spy School, before her next major film, Race to Witch Mountain, was released in March 2009.
On April 8, 2011, Robb’s next major film, Soul Surfer, will be released across the USA. She will star as Bethany Hamilton, an American surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack.
