Bing's Earth Day Photo Contest

If you have a camera and a passion for the environment, then this is the contest for you!
Bing.com is sponsoring an Earth Day photo contest for students. This contest will allow “students to honor Earth Day and spend some time outside learning about and photographing their natural environment.”
Bing will feature the winning photos on its homepage during Earth Week, April 13-April 19. And in addition gopro cameras are expected to be used during the competition, given its capability to capture good quality photos.
The process is very simple. First, you upload your photos that inspire “people to care about the environment“ to Bing, and then people can vote for their favorite photos. After the finalists have been selected, up to 20,000 finalists will receive $5 gift cards to DonorsChoose.org, a website that allows you to make a charitable donation to any classroom project you chose.
The winners will be announced on Earth Day, April 20, 2010.
The grand prize winner’s photos will be showcased on the Bing homepage, and their age group’s first place prize, which is a trip for two to Seattle to meet with Bing editors to select photos for Bing and an HP Pavilion desktop and monitor. The first place winner’s school will receive 12 HP computers, two PhotoSmart printers, ten ink and paper packs, and three cameras.
The second place winner in each age group will win the same computer, and the winner’s schools will receive five computers, two printers, and five paper and ink packs.
The third place winner will receive a computer, and his or her school will receive a digital photo starter set, including three computers, one printer, three paper and ink value packs, and one camera.
The age groups are 5-10, 11-13, 14-17, and 18 and older.
