Bradley Cooper is an American actor. Bradley first gained widespread recognition when he costarred with Owen Wilson and and Vince Vaughn in 2005’s romantic comedy, Wedding Crashers. He really launched himself into the public eye in 2009 when The Hangover was released in the USA. His next movie, The Hangover Part II, will be released in the USA on May 26, 2011. Bradley was born on January 5, 1976, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His parents are Gloria and Charles Cooper; both are Italian-Americans. Bradley graduated from Germantown Academy, the oldest nonsectarian day school in the USA in 1993. He attended Villanova University for his freshman year of college, but then transferred to Georgetown University. He graduated from Georgetown in 1997 with a B.A. in English. He also studied French and has lived in France for six months, furthering his abilities with the language. After graduating college, Bradley attended the Actors Studio Drama School.
Bradley got his start in the acting world when he appeared on an episode of Sex and the City in 1999. He landed his first film in 2001 in Wet Hot American Summer. The same year, Bradley landed the role of Will Tippinin the television show Alias. In 2005, Bradley portrayed the “bad guy,” Zachary Lodge, in the hit comedy, Wedding Crashers. The next year he portrayed one of Matthew McConaughey’s best friends in the romantic comedy, Failure to Launch. His other famous films in the late 2000’s include The Comebacks, Yes man, and He’s Just Not That Into You. However, Bradley reached a new level of celebrity status in 2009 when The Hangover left audiences across the nation laughing out loud.
On a personal note, Bradley has been married once to actress Jennifer Esposito. Bradley began dating actress Renée Zellweger in 2009, but their relationship was not announced until September 2010. They split in March 2011 and Bradley has not been seriously romantically linked to anyone else since then.
