David Arquette is an American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. His grandfather and father are also actors. Arquette became famous during the 1990s when he starred in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Never Been Kissed, and the Scream movies. He appeared on several television shows as well, such as Beverly Hills, 90210 and Friends. Arquette also pursues an occasional career as a professional wrestler. EDUinReview will now take a look at the education background of this multi-talented man.
Arquette was born on September 8, 1971, in Winchester, Virginia. His parents are Brenda and Lewis Arquette. He has four siblings: Alexis, Patricia, Richmond, and Rosanna. He attended Mid-City Alternative High School in Los Angeles, California.
Arquette truly reached celebrity status for his work in the horror films, Scream, Scream 2, and Scream 3. Along with Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox Arquette, Arquette is the only other actor to appear in all three films. After meeting Courteney on the set of the films, the couple married on June 12, 1999. The couple created production company called Coquette, which has produced several films and television shows, such as Cougar Town and Daisy Does America.
In addition to acting, Arquette is sometimes a professional wrestler. On April 12, 2000 he made his first professional appearance by leaping from the audience into the ring and confronting Eric Bischoff. The next episode of WCW Thunder found Arquette teamed with Diamond Dallas Page, the reigning WCW World Heavyweight Champion, against Bischoff. Arquette pinned Bischoff and was made the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He usually served as comedic relief during his reign as champion, but by the end of the season, he was named WCW World Champion. Since then, he has still been a fan of WWE, even being a presenter at the 2010 Slammy Awards.
Arquette will return to the big screen on April 15, 2011 with the fourth installment of the Scream movies, along with Courteney Cox Arquette, Neve Campbell, and Emma Roberts.
