David Hasselhoff's Education Background

David Hasselhoff is an American actor who made a name for himself in the television series, Baywatch. Hasselhoff is also a signer, producer, and businessman. He has been a host on several talent shows, including America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent. His next big role is appearing as himself in the new animated film, Hop, which will be released on April 1, 2011 in the USA. Hasselhoff was born on July 17, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland. He grew up in Jacksonville, FL, and attended high school in Atlanta, GA, at Marist High School. He graduated from Lyons Township High School in Illinois in 1970. He was very active in various groups during high school, including the speech team, choir, and several school plays.

After high school, he attended several schools. First, he studied at Bates College and then Oakland University. Finally, he graduated from California Institute of the Arts with a degree in theater.
His first television acting role was on The Young and the Restless from 1975 to 1982. He started his singing career in 1984 when he appeared on the children’s television program, Kids Incorporated. However, his first major break was when he starred in Knight Rider from 1982-1986. Then in 1989, Hasselhoff had another big show on his hands: Baywatch. The show was canceled after the first season, but Hasselhoff invested his own money in the show and revived it for the syndication market. The show was given another chance, and it’s revival lasted for another ten seasons and is the most watched television show in the world, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
He has appeared in several movies as self-parodies, including The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Eurotrip, and Click. His next such movie is Hop.
On a personal note, Hasselhoff has been married twice. His first marriage to Catherine Hickland lasted from March 24, 1984 to March 1, 1989. His second marriage to Pamela Bach lasted from December 9, 1989 to January 13, 2006, when Hasselhoff announced he had filed for divorce. The couple had two daughters, Taylor Ann and Hayley.
