Felicity Huffman's Education Profile

Felicity Kendall Huffman was born on December 9, 1962 in Bedford, New York. She is the daughter of Moores Peters, a banker, and Grace Valle Huffman.
Huffman attended The Putney School, a boarding school, in Vermont but graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. Huffman earned he college degree in 1984 from New York University. She graduated from Circle In The Square Theater School with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Drama. Circle In The Square is a non-profit training program for actors that’s accredited by the the National Association of Schools of Theater.
Beginning her acting career in theater, Huffman started working in film in 1981 with a role on Things Change. Since then, she has appeared in numerous films and television shows. Huffman has won an Emmy and two Screen Actors Guild Awards for the role of Lynette Scavo in Desperate Housewives.
