Justin Timberlake and Anne Hathaway Honored by Harvard

At a school were even earning a diploma seems like an honor, we are left wondering what exactly it means to be crowned Man or Woman of the Year by Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals. Described as a “lampoon” theater by one Harvard alum, Hasty Pudding Theatricals named Justin Timberlake 2010’s Man of the Year and Anne Hathaway Woman of the Year, for their contributions to the entertainment industry.
Neither Hathaway nor Timberlake are Harvard alums, but a bio of Mr. Timberlake published by the theater was quick to point out that he starred in a film set at the university, The Social Network.
After accepting his award, MonsersandCritics.com reported that Timberlake lamented not pursuing a higher education. “Secretly, I always wanted to go to college and I didn’t get the chance to do that.” He did not mention his future plans, adding, “I’m an artist first, so I’ll continue to follow the inspiration. That means movies, TV and writing [songs] for other people.”
