Justin Timberlake's Education Background

Justin Randall Timberlake was born on January 31, 1981 in Memphis, Tennessee. He is the son of Randall Timberlake and Lynn Harless. Timberlake’s parents divorced in 1985 and remarried. Randall, a choir director at a Baptist church is married to Lisa Perry. Timberlake has two half brothers from this marriage. Timberlake’s mother, the operator of the entertainment company Just-In Time Entertainment, is remarried to Paul Harless, a banker. Timberlake grew up in Shelby Forest a middle class suburb near Memphis.
Timberlake’s music career began as he attempted singing country music on the television competition show, Star Search. In 1993, Timberlake had joined the cast of The Mickey Mouse Club. Fellow cast members included future stars such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and future bandmate, JC Chasez. By 1995 Timberlake recruited Chasez to be in an all-male singing group organized by band manager Lou Pearlman. Eventual the successful boy band, ‘N Sync was formed.
‘N Sync hit it big in the United States by 1998. They released their successful album, ‘NSYNC, which sold 11 million copies. Timberlake continued to be the lead singer for the boy band until it’s eventual dissolution in the early 2000’s. During an ‘N Sync hiatus, Timberlake released his first solo album, Justified, which sold over 7 million copies worldwide. Timberlake’s fame as a solo celebrity grew as his continued to produce more albums. Timberlake’s first two record made him one of the most commercially successful singers in the world. Each album sold over 7 million copies.

In 1999, Timberlake made his acting debut in a made-for-television movie, Model Behavior, on the Disney Channel. The movie was released in March 2000. This was Timberlake’s first taste of acting fame, but he continued to focus on his music career until 2004. Then he decided to act in several popular movies, including Alpha Dog, Black Snake Moan, and Shrek the Third.
In addition to music, Timberlake has an acting career, owning the record label, Tennman Records, the fashion label, William Rast, and he’s involved in the restaurant business as well. Timberlake has also been involved with many charities and has even created his own organization, The Justin Timberlake Foundation. This foundation was originally created to fund music education in schools. Timberlake did not attend college, something which he has on occasion expressed regret about.
