Luke Wilson's Education Background

Luke Wilson is an American actor who is possibly best known for his roles in Legally Blonde and Old School. He is a member of the Frat Pack, a group of funny actors who have gained fame in the past few years. EDUinReview will now take a look at his education background.
Wilson was born on on September 21, 1971, in Dallas, Texas. His parents are Robert and Laura Wilson. He is the youngest of three siblings; he has two brothers, Andrew and Owen. All three of the Wilson brothers work in film. Wilson attended Occidental College for athletics but then he discovered his love of acting while there and soon transferred to Texas Christian University.

In 1993, Luke joined with his brother, Owen, and Wes Anderson to produce a movie called Bottle Rocket. After the movie received moderate success, the Wilson brothers moved to Hollywood. In 1997, Luke starred in Telling Lies in America, Best Men, and Bongwater. The next year he co-starred with Drew Barrymore in Home Fries. Luke continued to work in comedies through 2001 in films like Legally Blonde, Charlie’s Angels, and The Royal Tenenbaums. He has dabbled with more serious movies, such as Vacancy and 3:10 to Yuma. However, he has remained true to his Frat Pack roots by starring in shows like Idiocracy and The Family Stone.
