For those who have not played the game, Mavis Beacon is an educational game that can teach anyone to type better, and rewards users for typing with speed and proficiency.
Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing has evolved a great deal since its original release in 1987. The 2011 version of the game introduces a lot of new features. Users can practice typing a number of different texts, like the latest news stories or a pick from a ranch of classic novels. You can even practice typing to the lyrics of your favorite songs while listening to iTunes. Put your skills to the test with one of 17 high-resolution speed-typing games. You can even set you iCal to remind you to spend a little time working on your typing stills.
