Win a Grant from FilterForGood for Your Green Idea

The FilterForGood Eco-Challenge from Brita launched two years ago, and ever since has been rewarding college students for going green. This year, the challenge is expanding to include all students and school levels, from kindergarten to college. The motto: no project is too small.
Brita’s FilterForGood challenge funds student-created projects that help protect and improve the environment. Past winners include University of California Berkley students, who created a sustainable food guide and a group from George Washington University that made their dorm water bottle free.
“These days students of all ages are passionate about protecting the environment, and they want to do whatever they can to make a difference,” said Drew McGowan, Senior Group Manager, Sponsorships at Brita. “Through the FilterForGood Eco-Challenge, we’re proud to help fund some of those incredible ideas and continue to promote a sustainable lifestyle.”
The deadline for submissions is November 19, 2010 and the winners will be announced in February of 2011. Submissions should be action-driven and have a tangible goal. For more information, visit FilterForGood.com/ecochallenge.
