Zac Efron's Education Background

I happily admit that I am seriously looking forward to seeing “Charlie St. Cloud” for one main reason: Zac Efron. I don’t care what anyone else says, Zac is sexy, talented, adorable, and a thousand other wonderful adjectives. I can go on and on about how hot I think he is; trust me my friends, it is at least a 30-minute spiel.
But who would have thought he was also very intelligent?
Evidently, anyone who went to high school with him. Zac graduated from Arroyo Grande High School in Arroyo Grande, California in 2006. A serious student, Zac cared a lot about his grades and claims he would “flip out” if he got anything less than an A in his classes. As a result, he graduated with a 4.3 overall GPA.
However, don’t get tricked into thinking that Zac was only a bookworm. He was also the self-proclaimed class clown.
“I have to admit I was kind of a class clown,” Zac told Bop Magazine. “If I got along with a teacher, there was no end to my telling jokes or making people laugh in class.”
After graduating, Zac was accepted to the University of Southern California. However, Zac’s acting career took off the same year that he should have started attending USC and he decided to defer his college education in favor of pursuing an acting career. (Side note: Another hottie who chose acting over education is Taylor Lautner.)
Since then, Zac has starred in several hit films, including “High School Musical 2,” “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” “Seventeen Again,” and “Me and Orson Welles.” His newest film, “Charlie St. Cloud” comes out on July 30, 2010, nationwide.
